When using the Skin Analysis App (the “App”), Merz does not gather or collect any personal information from you during your app interaction. Your privacy and data security are of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to ensuring a transparent and secure experience.
There might be instances where we request personal information, such as your email address—of which explicit opt-in consent will have to be given by you—solely for the purpose of delivering the results of the skin analysis if you choose to receive them electronically. Merz will only collect sensitive information with your explicit consent, limited to the specific purpose of emailing the analysis results. Importantly, this information will not be utilized for any other purposes, and all collected data will be purged within 24 hours. You may opt not to provide any email address.
If you happen to provide Merz with another person’s personal information, you affirm that you have the necessary authorization from that individual to share their data with Merz, adhering to the terms outlined in this privacy policy. You also agree to indemnify Merz against any claims arising from the collection, use, and disclosure of that person’s personal information.

Merz recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and safety of children. Our website and services are primarily directed toward a general audience and are not directed toward children.
